Project No. 70(II)

By agreement between the Commission and the Attorney General, Part II of the reference was withdrawn in 1987. The Commission was of the view that the report on Part I had addressed the primary problem underlying the reference. This decision was influenced by the fact that, in the United Kingdom, the Government had decided not to implement the recommendations of the UK Law Commission’s Report No. 88 on the same subject.
